The public health group history
The Department of Public Health group of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences (ZUMS) was founded in 1992 in Health faculty of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences.
The disease prevention and family health were the first courses that launched at public Health group in the Zahedan School of Health.
Initially, the students that were admitted to the Family Health and Disease Prevention courses in health faculty of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences were educated nightly and they were graduated after two years educating.
But, at the present, given the importance of promoting of general health as well as local and national needs, the new fields of courses are accepted in this training group following as:
1- The daily Family Health course (License) was founded in 2010.
2- The post graduating educational course entitled as health education and promotion was launched in 2007.
3- The post graduating educational course entitled as of Health Care Management was launched in 2017.
